Sauchiehall Street submission in the Architects’ Journal
Our proposals for the redevelopment of the former Marks & Spencer store in Glasgow have been recommended for approval by Glasgow City Council.
Discussing the proposals our Founding Director Matt said: “Working alongside Savills Planning Team, we developed the scheme to retain the 1930s Art Deco façade, restoring its original design while also reintroducing the historic Wellington Arcade linking Sauchiehall Street and Renfrew Street, helping to contribute to the long-term vitality of both streets”.
Local MSP Paul Sweeney commented that our proposals are “both strikingly modern while retaining the valuable architectural heritage of the site.”
