Planning approval for Phoenix Works in Manchester
Matt Brook Architects are delighted to announce that Phoenix Works, the Practice's proposals for more than 200 new homes on the edge of the Castlefield Conservation Area, were approved at Planning Committee.
Designed to promote wellbeing, enhance a sense of community and facilitate home working for residents, the development will deliver 237 cross-ventilated, dual aspect apartments, townhouses and penthouses with open balcony access that includes garden kitchen planting.
In addition, a new public square will be delivered completing the masterplan for the wider area with new commercial units provided around the square to enliven and activate the public realm.
